HISTORY

Unique, Inc. (UNIQUE) have been providing home care and mental health services for those with special needs for over 14 years. Initially, Unique HCC provides a wide variety of social services for children and adults with disabilities including in-home supports, respite, therapies, behavioral supports, clinical therapies, parent coach counseling and more. UNIQUE respectfully provides supports to empower special needs persons to live as independently as possible with their community. The agency is an approved Medicaid provider and holds contracts with the Department of Children and Families as well as the Department of Human Services and NJ Division of Developmental Disabilities.

BCBA—Behaviorist Services

Staff are highly trained professional knowledgeable about the basic behavioral principles and techniques of applied behavior analysis that are needed to complete accurate FBAs, and design effective function-based interventions and comprehensive Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP)BCBA provides in-home services

ABA Services for your child begins with an assessment. Functional Behavioral Assessment (FBA) (BSP)

We provide 1:1 ABA therapy. Our clinical staff, led by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), will provide a full assessment of your child upon referral. An individual treatment plan based on the assessment of your child will be made by the BCBA.A trained therapist will come to your home each week and provide home-based ABA therapy for your child using techniques such as discrete trial instruction, verbal behavior, fluency-based instruction and incidental teaching.
